Marzena Piszczek

Member of the Supervisory Board


PhD in economic sciences, works at the Cracow University of Economics. She specializes in the following areas: corporate governance, corporate finance, and public finance.

She cooperates with practice – major projects include: implementation of modern budgeting methods; consolidation and restructuring of the Polish chemical and banking sectors; and implementation of economic standards for the nuclear sector in Poland. She supervised several dozen companies as Director of the Delegation of the Minister of State Treasury.

Dr. Piszczek has held a number of positions: president of MARR SA, vice-president of finance of the first nuclear power plant, and chairwoman of supervisory boards of significant public companies in Poland (such as PZU SA, PKO BP SA, and Grupa Azoty SA). She has been a member of various committees, including audit and nomination.

She has cooperated with ICMA, USAID, and the Open Society Institute. She has also worked as an expert for the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland and for the Chancellery of the Senate of the Republic of Poland.

An independent member within the meaning of capital market regulations and the Act on Statutory Auditors.

According to the submitted statement, the Supervisory Board member’s professional activity conducted outside the Company is not competitive with the Company’s operations. She does not participate in any competitive company as a partner in a civil or partnership enterprise, nor as a member of the governing bodies of a capital company. She is also not involved in any other competitive legal entities as a member of their governing bodies. The Supervisory Board member has not been entered into the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained under the National Court Register Act.
