In connection with plans for dynamic development on foreign markets, Mr Adam Kędzierski has been appointed President of the Benefit Systems International, a subsidiary of Benefit Systems, and – as a result – resigned from his function on the management board of Benefit Systems SA. At the same time, the Management Board of Benefit Systems S.A. has been joined by three individuals: Emilia Rogalewicz, responsible for sales and Client and Partner relations, Grzegorz Haftarczyk, who will be in charge of foreign operations and the Fitness segment, as well as Adam Radzki, managing the Analysis Department and the Project Management Office.
The expansion of the Management Board at Benefit Systems to include new individuals should facilitate effective management of various areas in our rapidly growing Company. All three new persons have joined the Management Board by way of internal promotion. Ms Emilia Rogalewicz has been with the company for 10 years, while Mr Adam Radzki – for 9 years. They both have largely contributed to the company’s success. Grzegorz Haftarczyk, in turn, has been building the company’s position abroad since 2014.
In addition to the above-mentioned individuals, Izabela Walczewska-Schneyder, acting as the CFO, and Arkadiusz Hanszke, a supervisor in the area of IT and other support functions, retain their positions on the Management Board.
Benefit Systems has become a big company that requires considerable levels of flexibility and managerial efficiency. The expanded Management Board will be able to better implement the company’s challenging growth strategy, both in Poland and on foreign markets, said Izabela Walczewska-Schneyder.
Adam Kędzierski, who is now going to focus on foreign expansion, created the business of sports cards in Benefit Systems from March 2009, increasing the number of MultiSport cards sold in Poland from 150,000 to 803,000 (at the end of the first half of 2017). In 2011, he was also the one who launched the company’s activities on the first foreign market, namely in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, a business model that had been previously tried and tested in Poland was successfully implemented by the company on the next two markets – in Slovakia and Bulgaria. Currently, the company is concentrated on the process of sales scaling and improving the product offer – at the end of the first half of the year, Benefit Systems sold over 95,000 sports cards abroad. Besides further growth in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria, Adam Kędzierski will now be responsible for the company’s entrance into new markets.
Our long-term ambition is to make the foreign operations of Benefit Systems a significant part of our revenue and profit, said Adam Kędzierski. Our intention is not only to grow organically on the three existing foreign markets, but also to gradually enter into new countries.
It was largely Adam Kędzierski who made the MultiSport cards available to hundreds of thousands of Poles. Now, the time has come to take advantage of his competences, experience and entrepreneurial flair in the development of foreign markets, said James Van Bergh, President of the Supervisory Board at Benefit Systems SA. I am optimistic about the further development of our Company both in Poland and abroad.
