Benefit Systems in good shape
The Benefit Systems Group, the leader of non-wage employee benefits, recorded in 2013 PLN 383 million sales revenues, i.e. 19.8% more than in the year before. This is the highest annual sales in the company's history. In 2013, the gross profit of the Group amounted to PLN 34 million, compared to PLN 38 million in the year before. Gross profit on the main product has reached a stable 15% profitability, which means an increase by 26%. The number of active sports cards increased in the previous year to a record 453,000 pcs. The company's Management Board, in accordance with the dividend policy, intends to recommend a payment of at least 50% of the profit to the shareholders.
In Q4 2013, the revenues of the Group amounted to in total to PLN 103 million compared to PLN 86 million in the corresponding period of 2012. In Q4 2013, the Group generated PLN 10 million gross profit, without taking into account the costs of the incentive program, compared to PLN 8 million in the corresponding period of 2012.
In 2013, the gross profit, without regard to the incentive program, amounted to PLN 43 million, compared to PLN 41 million in 2012. In 2013, investing at the same time in new products, the company maintained a high sales margin of 22%. The company also recorded an increase of the gross profit on the main product, i.e. by 26% compared to 2012 – in 2013 it amounted to PLN 59 million.
Strengthening the position of our most significant MultiSport programme remains one of the most important strategic objectives of the Group. That is why I am glad that we have increased the number of active sports card while maintaining at the same time a high level of profitability. We will continue to develop our innovative incentive programs, in particular MultiBenefit. We will also continue the process of consolidation of the network of fitness clubs, said Tomasz Józefacki, President of Benefit Systems.
Tomasz Józefacki added that the Management Board, in accordance with the dividend policy for the years 2012-2016, will recommend to the General Meeting a payment of at least 50% of the profit as dividend. In the previous years, i.e. 2011-2012, it was respectively PLN 6.00 and PLN 7.50 per share.
