Warsaw, August 22, 2017 – Fit Invest sp. z o.o., which belongs to the Benefit Systems Group of Companies, signed a contract for purchasing 15 clubs of the Fitness Club S4 network. The subject of the contract encompasses 12 clubs operating in Warsaw, as well as one in Białystok, Gdynia and Toruń – all situated in attractive locations convenient to the users. The transaction value will amount to PLN 23.8 million.
‘According to the last year's announcement, we are continuing our activities aimed at incorporating the S4 clubs into our investment network. Such incorporation, planned to take place in the first half of 2018, will comply with the adopted strategy of the company’s development. The new facilities will join the group of a few dozen investment clubs owned by Benefit Systems, which perfectly complement the network of about 4,000 partner sports facilities throughout Poland’, says Ms Izabela Walczewska-Schneyder, President of the Management Board at Fit Invest sp. z o.o. ‘It is one of our priorities that a growing number of MultiSport card users be able to pursue their sport-related passions by using the attractive offer of our fitness clubs’.
The S4 network offers state-of-the-art and well-equipped facilities providing the trainees with adequate comfort, interesting fitness activities and highly-qualified instructors. The network is currently managing 15 clubs, with 12 located in Warsaw and one in Białystok, Gdynia and Toruń.
The transaction will not affect the conditions under which the clubs can be used by both the holders of the network’s subscription card and the MultiSport card users. The clubs will continue their current activities in accordance with the development strategy adopted.
Due to the fact that the turnover of the taken-over clubs had exceeded EUR 10 million in neither of the two years preceding the transaction, the regulator’s consent was not required for the transaction to take place.
